Copy Editing / Proofreading

Copyediting is what most people consider proofreading. I am open to most levels and types of written content. Contact me for a quote based on level of copyedit and length of work. I can adjust levels of editing to focus on your specific needs and to stay within your budget. Descriptions are as follows:
 

Light Copyedit
  o Rate: $30 per hour
  o Spelling, grammar, punctuation
  o Consistency and formatting
  o If applicable: Table of Contents, Bibliography, etc.
 

Medium Copyedit
  o Rate: $40 per hour
  o Light copyedit
  o Rewrite suggestions for trouble areas
  o Edit for jargon, clichés, and bias
 

Heavy Copyedit
  o Rate: $50 per hour
  o Medium copyedit
  o Restructuring of sentences and paragraphs to improve           readability and flow
  o Check facts and avoid plagiarism
  o May work with author as a developmental editor
